Camilo Muñoz

Co-founder

Camilo is former President of ALC and has over 15 years of executive experience. He’s Founder and CEO of Translation Source and other companies. He worked at the Lehman Brothers’ Media and Telecommunication investment banking group and holds an MBA from Wharton School. He co-founded Spanish ASAP in 2014 and provides industry expertise to the team.

Alberto Garcia

Co-founder and CEO

Alberto has over 20 years of business experience. He worked with Price Waterhouse, McKinsey & Company, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and Coca-Cola FEMSA, and is a former management consultant and investment banker. He graduated from Columbia Business School, where he focused on Finance and International Business. He is one of the company founders and currently supports our sales and marketing efforts.

Lidia Escuela

VP of Sales

Lidia has managed accounts for Epson, LG, Pizza Hut, KFC, Casio, and Lexmark and has worked with major agencies: Leo Burnett, JW Thompson, and Ghersy Bates. She is one of the founders of the company, working with the director of operations in all areas and is responsible for all human capital and linguists.

Bettina Schewe

Director of Development and Education

Bettina is an ATA Certified translator with more than 20 years of experience working as a freelance Translator, Editor, and Project Manager for high volume projects. She held the position of Director of Operations from 2014 to 2020 and is now in charge of the Department of Development and Continuous Education, sharing her knowledge and providing training to our Project Managers and Linguists, and creating online courses for our clients and general public. She speaks English, Spanish and German fluently.

Sergio Ossa

Junior QA Manager

Sergio is a philologist and translator with over five years of experience as a freelance translator and editor. He holds an MA in audiovisual translation and an MA in literary translation. As a junior QA manager, he ensures the quality of the projects and resolves linguistic doubts and complaints from clients, vendors, and project managers .

Ana Matiz

Operation Manager

Ana María is a Professional with a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and a Master in Translation. She has experience as an English teacher and Freelance translator. In the company, she has had the positions of Team Leader and Senior Project Manager. Currently, she leads the role of Operations Manager. She leads the Operations team by providing guidance and support to the whole area of project management. In addition, she enjoys teaching and helping her team .
